Dr. Christian Krell is the Director of the Nordic Office of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Stockholm.
Christian Krell joined the Nordic Office of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) in 2016. Previously, he headed the Academy for Social Democracy in Bonn, Germany. Furthermore, Christian is member of the SPD's Basic Values Commission and lecturer at the University of Bonn where his academic focus includes party and democracy research as well as the social democracy's theory and practice. Christian is holding a PhD in Political Science on the European policy of the German Social Democratic Party, the British Labour Party and the French Socialist Party. He studied Political Science, History, Sociology, and Economics at the University of Siegen and the University of York.
Meike Büscher is Project Manager/Research Associate at the Nordic Office of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Stockholm.
Meike Büscher joined the office of FES Nordic Countries in September 2017 and worked before as Senior Research Analyst at the Ungdomsbarometern (focusing on youth studies) and as a Consultant at Augur (focusing on human/consumer behavior). Meike studied Sociology at the University of Hamburg and at the University of Lund. Some of her major fields of interests are social inequality, the Nordic welfare states, civic and political engagement, developments as individualization and concepts of identity.
Eike Meyer is Project Coordinator at the Nordic Office of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Stockholm.
Eike Meyer joined the office of FES Nordic Countries in June 2018. Previously, he worked as Project Manager at the German Council for Sustainable Development (focused on social and economic sustainability) and as Research Assistant at the Centre for Social Policy Research (focused on poverty research). Eike studied Political Science, Sociology and History at the University of Bremen. Beside others, his main interest lies in inclusion and social participation, welfare state policy as well as the transformation towards sustainable economies and societies.
Valerie Scheib is Project Manager/ Head of Administration at the Nordic Office of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Stockholm.
Valerie Scheib joined the FES office in Stockholm in October 2006. She holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration and Governance from the University of Konstanz in Germany. She also studied political science at the University of Uppsala and has a special interest in Scandinavian welfare and gender policies, party politics as well as International cooperation.
Nicholas Lützow is Accountant at the Nordic Office of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Stockholm.
Nicholas Lützow joined the office of FES Nordic Countries in October 2017 and is responsible for accounts payable, book-keeping and general administration. He studies his Master Degree in Accounting at Stockholm University and was beforehand studying his Bachelor in Business Administration in Cologne.
